Watch as the world population and global carbon dioxide emissions increase in real time. A Polish digital artist created this informative simulation based on data from the CIA World Factbook and the United Nations Statistics Division.
Every country starts off colored yellow and flashes red each time it emits 1000 tons of CO2, after a country surpasses 1000 tons of CO2 it becomes grey but continues to flash red. Scrolling over each country will give you further details about their national data.
In the brief 30 seconds or so that it took for you to read this about 87 people were born, 29 have died, and 15,000 tons of CO2 were anthropogenically emitted!

This is an awesome simulation ! Love the quotations on the top.
